    C. MEMBERSHIP
    1. Formal Member : with vote privilege, classified in three types:
    a. Pet Shops – to retail pets, pet products or provide pet service to the users.
    b. Wholesalers – to wholesale the pet products to more than ten pet shops.
    c. Other Related Firms – other than the above two categories.


    2. Sponsored Member: no vote privilege




    D. Requirements :
    1. Formal Member:
    1. Must deal in pets and pet products related business in HK and have HK B.R.
    2. Must belong to either one to three of the following types of member.
    2. Sponsored Member:
    Must belong to either four to eight of the following types of member.



    1. Pet Shop、Beauty Treatment for Pets、Aquarium
    2. Importer/Wholesaler of pet products、Wholesaler of pet products
    3. Breeder、Pet care service、Pet training、Cremation service、Express service for pet products、e-business for pet products、Schools、Others related pet products business (not include in the following 4-8 items)
    4. Veterinaries or Vets Clinics
    5. Exporters for pet products
    6. Community or Organization of Pets
    7. Individual interests party of Pets
    8. Others local or oversea Registered Association




    E. Core of its Activities
    1. Help in promotion the trend of pet business./li>
    2. Acts a role to communicate between the Government, non-Government and pet charity organization.
    3. To monitor the effect of pet business, especially is the development of its policy and legislation.
    4. Care of the pet sectors’ benefit is our main duty, to support or object to policy of pet business and its legislation.
    5. To collect and analyze of the distribution of pet sectors and its relevant materials.
    6. To enhance the social status of pet business.
    7. To educate the people who work in the pet business.
    8. To educate the pet owner about responsibility and the pet knowledge.
    9. To standardize , design and edit an effective system inclusive of pet care knowledge. To enhance its developments and the consolidation of pet business commitment.
